summer happenings pt. 1 : tv shows

well a great deal of my time was spent catching up on several tv shows. maraming mga tapos na, let’s start with The Walking Dead.

ganda nung last episode nito, I think the upcoming season looks promising and interesting. a new character and a villain will certainly be introduced.

Where it left off : Hershel’s farm taken over. Rick shot Shane. Prison Cell.

What to expect : Katana-totting female character. The guy pictured above. 2nd child of Lori.

When : Around October 30ish.

na-hook din ako sa Community, I think everybody was. sobrang galing ng storyline and how they make each episode as unique as possible. kaso lang, papalitan na si Dan Harmon (creator nito) kaya baka magkaroon ng pagbabago sa style ng palabas.

Where it left off : 3 episode season ender; 8bit video game, Chang controls Greendale and Jeff goes to court.

What to expect : Aside from Starburns still being alive, di ko alam haha.

When : TBA

House. after 8 great seasons, natapos din ang series na ito. okay na din siguro yung closure na binigay nila, good way to wrap things up. may mga elements lang na nakulangan ako like bakit wala si Cuddy sa libing ni House at bakit di pinatulan ni Chase si Adams. haha.

Where it left off : Nalaman ni Wilson na may cancer siya. House died. Chase becomes head of diagnostics.

The Mentalist. haha. sobrang konti lang yung mga kilala kong nanonood nito. di ko alam kung bakit, pero ang taas naman ng ratings nito (mas mataas pa sa Community) siguro di lang talaga feel ng iba yung premise na ginagamitan ng utak hahaha. si Patrick Jane yung favorite kong tv character. ever. ang galing eh. talagang lahat dinadaan lang niya sa usap at diskarte. my kind of guy.

Where it left off : Natanggal sa CBI si Jane. Nagplano ng entrapment para kay Red John.

What to expect : Still no Red John. boo.

When : TBA

Avatar : The Legend of Korra. probably the best cartoon ever made. the fight scenes are amazing. yung technology na ginagamit nila is very fun and peculiar. at sympre yung kwento is not dragging and boring. sinubaybayan ko (pati yung mga classmates ko) yung Avatar : The Last Air Bender nung high school at sobrang saya kasi right after mag-release ng episode last night, kinabukasan, panigurado yun ang usapan. at kung hindi ka maka-relate, eh tangina mo lang. haha.

on going pa itong series na ito with the latest episode coming up on the 9th of June.

and last but not the least, the tv series everyone’s talking about : The Game of Thrones. sofa king legiiiiit. di ko alam kung paano i-ddescribe tong palabas na to. kahit na tig-10 episodes lang siya per season, sobrang solb solb eh. laging may natatanggalan ng ulo. laging may nagmumurahan. at sympre laging may surprise sex. 🙂

binabasa ko yung libro at a very slow rate (buhay pa si Ned Stark) at sobrang amazed ako kung gaano ka-dikit yung sa tv series at sa books. so far wala pa ata akong nakikitang diversion sa plot di tulad ng sa the walking dead na ni-cater siguro nila for the tv audiences kaya binago yung storyline. sobrang kudos to the creators and producers of this show. I think sobrang gastos ng production costs nito kaya na-llimit yung episode count but anyhow, they do not fail to deliver the amount of satisfaction we expect.

Where it left off : Baratheon retreats. Tywin Lannister returns as Hand of the King. Jon Snow remains captive. Winterfell is gone. The Kingslayer was set free.

What to expect : The King beyond the Wall. Rise of Daenerys. White Walkers.

When : Around April 7 next year. hahaha.

so I suggest basahin na muna natin yung libro to fill in the void that was made. haha.
